– Establishment of a dedicated ‘Cleaner Team’ to support customized robot operation by industry with professional personnel
– Immediate response to on-site inconveniences through a nationwide A/S network and a customer center open 365 days a year
– Provides technology demonstrations and field tests, and reduces the burden of introduction by verifying usability before introduction

VD Company (CEO Ham Pan-sik), a leading domestic service robot company, is further solidifying its position as a first mover in the robot market by emphasizing differentiated customer service competitiveness.
As VD Company has been developing the commercial and industrial cleaning robot market since November 2023 and has gained field experience, it does not stop at supplying products but also provides total services that are responsible for improving usability and aftercare after introduction.
In particular, it established the 'Cleber Team', a dedicated cleaning robot organization, and improved service quality. VD Company reorganized the existing cleaning robot organization into 'Cleber BD' and formed teams in charge of B2B, B2C, and B2G to strengthen its expertise. The team was formed by combining personnel who have handled cleaning equipment and personnel with abundant experience in robot operation, and is providing optimized solutions by industry and size. Furthermore, it has also established a brand strengthening strategy to promote 'Cleber' as the representative cleaning robot brand and uniformly apply 'Cleber' to the expanding cleaning robot lineup in the future.
The user-centered service system is also a unique strength of VD Company. It operates a cloud-based monitoring system that collects and analyzes usage data of each device in real time, and responds immediately to inconveniences in the field through a nationwide A/S network and a dedicated center that operates 365 days a year. Based on this system, the plan is to continuously maintain performance and increase user satisfaction even after the equipment is installed in the field.
VD Company is also operating a technology demonstration and field test program for customers considering introducing cleaning robots. It supports customers to sufficiently verify usability and efficiency in the actual usage environment before introduction, and provides customized operation consulting according to usage patterns and work environments. Through this, it is increasing field applicability and helping customers have confidence in product selection.
Premium Korean beef grilling restaurant 'Warehouse 43' introduced VD Company's cleaning robots to 18 stores nationwide, improving store cleanliness and employee work efficiency. In a situation where there was concern about slipping due to grease on the floor and a high cleaning burden on employees due to the nature of beef stores, VD Company designed detergent mixes and cleaning routines according to the floor conditions of each store and operated it to maintain cleanliness with regular cleaning twice a day. As a result of strengthening close support such as assigning a dedicated person in charge to manage the daily cleaning status and quickly modifying the map when the store structure changes, customer satisfaction increased and a working environment was created where employees can focus on customer service.
“For commercial and industrial cleaning robots, it is more important to consider how well they work and are used consistently in the field than how they are installed,” said Ham Pan-sik, CEO of VD Company. “As a first mover, we will become a brand that customers trust and choose through our proven experience and service differentiation.”
Meanwhile, VD Company pioneered the service robot market by commercializing the serving robot for the first time in Korea in 2019, and is currently leading the robot transition (RX) in industrial sites by introducing various service robots, including the cleaning robot 'Cleaver' series.
