Jobplanet, 7 out of 10 office workers 'use ChatGPT almost every day'

Braincommerce (CEO Heeseung Hwang and Shinkeun Yoon), a career platform operated by Jobplanet, announced on the 22nd that according to the results of a survey on 'ChatGPT Utilization Experience' conducted on 762 office workers, 7 out of 10 office workers use ChatGPT almost every day. This figure shows that generative AI tools are being widely utilized beyond specific job groups.

When asked whether ChatGPT can be used at their current company, 93.7% responded that “it can be used for work.” Of these, 82.7% said they use ChatGPT naturally without worrying about what others think, while 17.3% said they still use it cautiously.

The main use of ChatGPT was 'company'. 78.9% of all respondents answered that they use ChatGPT more often at work than in their daily lives, and only 21.1% answered that they use it more in their daily lives. The most common use method in the company was ▲writing articles or creating summaries (40.1%), followed by ▲idea planning and information search (28.4%) ▲technical work such as code creation (24.8%) ▲checking out how to use unfamiliar tools (4.7%).

The perception of colleagues who actively utilize AI is also positive. 91.1% of respondents answered that “using AI well is also part of work ability,” which suggests that efficiently handling AI tools is recognized as a practical job ability.

Meanwhile, when asked whether they felt their jobs were threatened by AI, 57.6% answered, “I don’t feel threatened.” Even as technological advancements accelerate, it is analyzed that many workers are embracing AI as a tool and trying to strengthen their capabilities.
