Everybot Mobility , a subsidiary of AI service robot specialist Everybot, announced on the 16th that it had signed an agreement with Korea's leading mutual aid company, Kyowon Life , regarding the sale of personal mobility.
With this agreement, Kyowon Life members will be able to purchase two types of Everybot Mobility medical scooters (ZS5000 and ZS9000) and the lightweight mobility device 'Z7000' at a discounted price.
Everybot Mobility was newly established in August of last year and is currently conducting a personal mobility business. It launched the ‘Everygo’ brand and is receiving favorable reviews from the market for not only electric wheelchairs and medical scooters, but also the HC1 smart robot chair with autonomous driving technology.
In the future, more than 1 million members of Kyowon Life will be able to encounter Everybot Mobility products more closely. An Everybot Mobility official said, “With this agreement, we will also pursue the development of various personal mobility products that reflect autonomous driving technology, and in the future, we will strive to dramatically resolve the inconveniences of the disabled and transportation disadvantaged.”
Meanwhile, parent company Everybot is expected to shorten the R&D period for product launches by increasing human and material investment in R&D, such as recently hiring Dr. Woojong Cho, a KAIST PhD graduate who worked at Samsung Electronics for about 30 years, as the head of the research center. Everybot’s strength in AI autonomous robot technology is expected to have a great synergy effect in the personal mobility business in the future.
