VONAER, an urban air traffic and private jet service platform, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with XR solution specialist DoubleMe and will begin introducing immersive XR content for private jet customers.
This agreement aims to build a differentiated aviation experience for VVIP customers by incorporating XR technology into major aviation services such as private jets, helicopters, and VIP lounges provided by Bon Air. The two companies plan to develop a service that can increase psychological stability and convenience during the flight through content suitable for the in-flight environment and a user-friendly interface.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲Passenger psychological stability using XR meditation content ▲Specialized airport and in-flight space services using social XR-based meeting solutions and natural immersive content ▲Development of pre-experience content using in-flight 3D scans ▲Design of customized experiences using advanced customer data, etc.
This collaboration is the first domestic case of introducing immersive XR content as a regular service in the aviation industry, and through this, Bon Air plans to enhance customer experience and further strengthen the differentiation of its brand.
Bon Air is the first company in Korea to launch an urban air mobility (UAM) platform, and currently operates helicopter and private jet reservation services. It is expanding its presence in the Asian private aviation market, and recently introduced a luxury jet and conducted a test operation targeting domestic VVIP customers.
DoubleMe, the agreement partner, is a company specializing in content development and platform operation based on XR technology, and is providing solutions optimized for the aviation and mobility environment by utilizing psychological healing, natural immersive images, and hologram-based interface technology. With this agreement, the company plans to apply the technology first to aircraft and airport VIP spaces.
Bon Air CEO Shin Min said, “This agreement will be a turning point in taking our private jet service to the next level,” and added, “We will continue to introduce new technology-based services to design even more complete journeys for our VVIP customers.”
