Rico announced that it will participate in the 2025 International Logistics Industry Fair (KOREA MAT 2025) held at KINTEX in Ilsan from April 22nd to 25th and introduce its workplace waste collection service, ‘UpBox.’
Upbox is a service that can collect 78 types of waste at once, including waste paper, waste vinyl, waste synthetic resin, and food waste, from various businesses such as logistics centers, shopping malls, department stores, and factories. It is mainly targeted at businesses with high processing costs and low recycling rates due to mixed discharge, and supports efficient waste management through real-time measurement and an automated discharge system.
In addition to collecting 78 types of waste, Upbox also provides customized discharge site design for businesses, real-time emission measurement, and automatic linkage with the Environmental Corporation's 'Olbaro System'.
A Rico official explained, “Upbox’s strength in being able to integrate and consign various types of waste is contributing to the efficiency of logistics center operations, and we hope that through this exhibition, field staff will be able to experience Upbox’s functions and effects firsthand.”
