Law & Company and the Gyeongnam Bar Association announced on the 22nd that they have signed a business agreement to strengthen the work capacity of lawyer members and introduce AI-based legal services.
The signing ceremony was held on the 18th at the Gyeongnam Bar Association Hall in Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, and was attended by officials from both sides, including Gyeongnam Bar Association Chairman Kim Joo-bok, General Manager Na Yu-shin, Finance Director Jo Hyeon-tae, Education Director Kim Seul-gi, Law & Company CEO Kim Bon-hwan, and Legal AI Research Institute Director Ahn Ki-soon.
This agreement was prepared to support lawyers’ practical competitiveness and strengthen their digital transformation capabilities in response to the rapid adoption of AI technology in the legal field. The two organizations plan to establish a cooperative system for expanding the use of legal AI technology and practical application over the next year.
Through this agreement, Law & Company will provide the AI-based legal secretary ‘Super Lawyer’ and the integrated legal information service ‘Big Case Plus’ to members of the Gyeongnam Bar Association at a special discount, and also plans to operate an AI technology utilization education program for lawyers.
'Super Lawyer' is a legal AI secretary developed to improve the work efficiency of lawyers. In just 9 months since its launch, more than 8,000 people, or about 26% of all practicing lawyers in Korea, have signed up. Recently, it proved the practical usability of AI by recording a 74% correct answer rate in the multiple-choice questions of the 14th Bar Examination.
In addition, 'Big Case Plus' is an AI-based integrated legal information service that includes domestic case law, legal papers, and legal commentaries, and supports quick search and utilization of various legal materials. In May, Park Young-sa's commentaries, including the latest revised editions of the Civil Code Commentaries and Criminal Code Commentaries, will be provided exclusively.
Gyeongnam Bar Association Chairman Kim Joo-bok said, “It is very meaningful to have established a foundation for improving practical response capabilities using AI technology,” and “We will continue to support our members to proactively respond to the changing legal environment through cooperation with the private sector.”
Kim Bon-hwan, CEO of Law & Company, said, “This agreement will allow us to increase AI accessibility for local lawyers and strengthen field-centered technical support,” and added, “We will continue to work together to create a trustworthy legal AI ecosystem.”
