Artificial intelligence (AI) company BQAI announced on the 22nd that it had received certification as an ‘Innovative Growth Type Venture Company’ from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
This certification is an official recognition of BQ AI's technological innovation and business growth potential, and is expected to help strengthen its position in the market through future development of AI technology and services.
Venture business certification is a system in which a government-designated venture business verification agency grants a total of 14 items based on a review by a professional evaluation agency and a final review by the Venture Business Verification Committee. It comprehensively evaluates technological prowess, business feasibility, patent holding status, and human resource composition, and selects promising companies through strict procedures including on-site inspections and multi-faceted evaluations.
Through this certification, BQ AI has proven its technological prowess and market competitiveness to the public, and based on this, it will receive various institutional benefits such as preferential treatment in policy funding, designation as a target for priority patent examination, expansion of the limit on granting stock purchase options, and support for advertising production costs.
A BQ AI official said, “We are actively working on developing AI technology and resolving copyright issues, and with this venture company certification as an opportunity, we plan to contribute to the development of various AI services and industrial innovation based on our own technological capabilities.”
