
Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Moon-rak) held an orientation for 32 local creator teams in the Yeongnam region that were finally selected for the '2025 Local Creator Development Project' at Mmuhs in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk on the 18th.
The '2025 Local Creator Development Project' is a project overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and managed by the Small Business Corporation. It is a project to foster entrepreneurial small business owners who run businesses by incorporating innovative ideas based on local resources and characteristics to revitalize the local economy.
The Gyeongbuk Center selected 32 local creator teams from the Yeongnam region covering five regions: Gyeongbuk, Daegu, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, and individual small business owners: ▲Seolarae Co., Ltd. ▲May Morning Co., Ltd. ▲Twelve Mountains Co., Ltd. ▲Gangsangdo’s Taste ▲Guryongpo Tiger Banana Glace ▲Namhae Confectionery Breadmel ▲Heunghae-ra Ipop Agricultural Corporation ▲Duyez ▲Local Culture Factory ▲Modakbul Company Agricultural Corporation ▲Mireuk Mireuk ▲Meet & Vege ▲Park Ga-jeong ▲Angang Market ▲Yeongnam Alps Forest Road Social Cooperative ▲O-A-Ple ▲Orchid Company ▲Yoon Ik ▲EUNE MARKET ▲Jeodong Coffee ▲Gopa Co., Ltd. ▲Rotart Co., Ltd. ▲Sacheon Grid Co., Ltd. ▲Andong Onsaramdeul Co., Ltd. ▲Hero Co., Ltd. ▲Bibee Co., Ltd. ▲Prism Lifestyle Arts Content Research Institute ▲Tongyeong Girls Club ▲Food Trip & Company, a total of 29 teams. The collaborating small business owners were selected as ▲Namsan Seonbi Village Co., Ltd. ▲Byeolheun Co., Ltd. ▲Base Camp, a total of 3 teams.
The event began with an introduction of the program schedule and other business activities of the Gyeongbuk Center, the host organization, and provided time for accounting education for smooth execution of government subsidies and team building activities to form networks among each other. In addition, the case studies of Mumuhs Bae Min-hwa, the CEO of Mumuhs, who was selected as the best local creator in 2022, and Our City Sun CEO Lee Min-joo, who was selected as the local brand commercial district in 2024, were shared.
Participating small business owners will receive support for the next nine months, including business model advancement, commercialization funds for branding and marketing, entrepreneurship education, and networking programs.
The person in charge of the Gyeongbuk Center said, “We will provide continuous support to the 32 small business owners who were finally selected so that they can grow into local creators representing our region, not only with support for BM, branding, and marketing, but also to improve their export and investment capabilities,” adding, “We hope that they will grow into excellent small business owners who will contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.”
