
AI-based learning platform Classum announced on the 22nd that its CEO, Lee Chae-rin, received the 'Presidential Citation for Information and Communications Service' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT for her contributions to the development of information and communication and raising global awareness.
This award is given to organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the information, broadcasting, and communications industries. The awards ceremony was held on the 21st at the Korea Science and Technology Hall in Seoul to mark the 'Science and Information and Communication Day', and was attended by government officials including Minister of Science and ICT Yoo Sang-im.
Including this award, CEO Lee Chae-rin has received awards including the 'Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 Leaders' in 2021, the Minister of Science and ICT Award in 2022, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Award in 2023.
Classum is a learning platform based on AI technology, providing services to domestic and international companies and educational institutions. It is currently being used in 32 countries around the world, and is attracting attention as it has been introduced not only by major companies such as Samsung, LG, and Hyundai, but also by major universities such as Seoul National University, KAIST, and Yonsei University.
Classum is securing competitiveness in domestic and international markets based on its own AI technology and IT product capabilities. In 2022, it attracted a total of 15.1 billion won in investments from Silicon Valley in the United States and Korea, and the cumulative investment amount is 22.5 billion won. In the same year, it was selected as one of Forbes' 'Asia's 100 Most Promising Companies' and was also recognized by the global software review platform G2.
Additionally, it has been selected for the 'East Asia EdTech 150' by Holon IQ, a global education market research firm, for four consecutive years, and was recently selected for Free Icon operated by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.
CEO Lee Chae-rin said in her acceptance speech, “We will advance AI-based technologies to contribute to improving learning effectiveness and work efficiency in corporate and educational settings.”
