Day One Company Establishes Local Corporation in the US

Adult education content company Day1Company announced on the 21st that it has established a local corporation, 'Day1company USA (tentative name),' in Delaware, USA and is moving forward with global business expansion.

The establishment of this US corporation is a strategic decision to accelerate growth momentum in the global education market and strengthen competitiveness in the US, the world's largest education market. Based on the global operating experience accumulated through previous expansion into Japan and Taiwan, full-scale business expansion in the US market is expected.

According to market research firm HolonIQ, the global education market is expected to grow to approximately $10 trillion by 2030, and the vocational education sector is expected to record an average annual growth rate of 6.5%. DayOne Company plans to provide differentiated content centered on high-demand fields such as AI, tech, design, and drawing.

The newly established 'Day1company USA' is in charge of the US business of Day1company's flagship brands, the practical education platform 'Fast Campus' and the job skills education brand 'Colosso'. It aims to build a value chain encompassing local customized content planning, production, and distribution, and to provide a market-tailored educational experience.

The company plans to invest approximately 20 billion won in original content production and local instructor recruitment over the next three years, and hire approximately 50 professional staff, including content planners and marketers, to strengthen localization capabilities. Based on this, the company has set a sales target of approximately 10 billion won in the U.S. market this year.

In addition, we plan to pursue a 'reverse export' model that introduces global standard content produced in the United States to Korea and provides it to domestic learners. Through this, we plan to increase competitiveness in the domestic education market and continue to expand our business throughout North America, including Canada.

DayOne Company CEO Lee Kang-min said, “Education is now a stage for competition of practical capabilities that transcends national borders,” and added, “We will not stop at simple localization, but lead the global education ecosystem through innovative content tailored to the industrial structure and trends of the U.S. market.”
