Criteo Signs Business Agreement with HSAD

Criteo (Nasdaq: CRTO), a commerce media company, announced on the 21st that it signed a strategic business agreement with HSAD, a comprehensive advertising agency, at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the 8th and discussed ways to cooperate for joint business promotion and digital innovation.

This agreement was pursued as part of a joint strategy between the two companies to respond to changes in the digital advertising environment and expand the commerce media ecosystem based on AI technology. In particular, the two companies plan to build a collaboration model for performance-oriented advertising operations and improved customer experience amidst intensifying marketing competition.

The signing ceremony was attended by key executives including Criteo CEO Michael Komasinski, Criteo Chief Product Officer Todd Parsons, Criteo Asia Pacific Regional Head Szi-Wei Lo, and Criteo CX Business Unit Head Sanghoon Lee.

Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to expand the use of Criteo's 'Commerce Growth' platform and collaborate in various areas, such as establishing data-based customized advertising strategies through joint initiatives, AI-based advertising automation, creative support, and providing analytical insights.

Criteo's commerce growth platform is used by over 17,000 advertisers globally, and supports targeted marketing and conversion optimization in the open Internet environment. It is explained that it creates high advertising efficiency and performance by automatically adjusting bidding, budget, and advertising materials using artificial intelligence (AI).

HSAD CX Business Division Head Lee Sang-hoon said, “HSAD is strengthening its commerce marketing strategy centered on digital actual sales performance beyond the existing advertising area,” and “Criteo’s data and technological prowess combined with HSAD’s planning and execution capabilities will help maximize our clients’ D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) performance.”
