Picnic Connect, recruiting teams for '2025 FutureScape'

Picnic Connect announced on the 21st that it is recruiting participating teams for the open innovation program '2025 FutureScape' jointly hosted by Samsung C&T Construction Division and Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, a small and medium-sized enterprise support agency of Seoul Metropolitan City.

'2025 FutureScape' is a program that discovers startups with innovative technologies and ideas, and supports the scale-up of startups through providing verification opportunities and business cooperation. It is hosted by Samsung C&T and co-hosted by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, and Sopung Connect is in charge of the overall planning and operation of the program. This is the second time the program has been implemented since last year.

This contest will be open to startups in various fields such as ▲smart apartment complex ▲wellness solutions ▲senior services ▲climate response ▲next-generation edutech ▲construction technology, etc. It will be operated by dividing it into a ‘verification track’ where verification collaboration is possible and a ‘future track’ that focuses on fostering potential from a long-term perspective, and a maximum of 6 teams will be selected for each track.

Selected companies will be provided with collaboration support funds of up to KRW 45 million for the demonstration track and up to KRW 10 million for the future track, and will also be provided with opportunities for commercialization, technology verification (PoC), and joint development based on the possibility of practical collaboration with Samsung C&T.

The recruitment period is from April 14 to May 6, and applications can be made through the official website (futurescape.kr). In addition, an online seminar to help understand the program will be live-streamed on the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency YouTube channel on April 29.

Through this program, Picnic Connect plans to actively support participating startups to increase their actual commercialization potential and grow rapidly through market verification. In particular, it aims to create tangible business results by going beyond simple matching and jointly deriving tasks with Samsung C&T and concretizing a cooperation model through verification.

“FutureScape is a program that provides real opportunities for startups with technological prowess and marketability to be verified and grow in the industrial field,” said Kyung-hee Choi, CEO of Picnic Connect. “We will work closely with Samsung C&T to help startups grow.”
