Moyo, 'Information Protection Management System' Certification Acquired

Mobile communication intermediary platform ' Moyo ' announced on the 17th that it has obtained Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

ISMS is a nationally recognized information security certification that is granted only when 80 evaluation criteria and 237 detailed inspection items are met throughout the entire process from the establishment of an organization's information security policy to operation and management. Moyo has been pursuing certification voluntarily despite it not being a legal obligation, and has continued its efforts to protect customer information and strengthen its security system.

Moyo is a platform where you can easily use all communication services online, such as comparing mobile phone plans, applying for and opening mobile phones and the Internet. Since the beginning of the service, we have been building a systematic security management system in cooperation with mobile phone operators (MVNOs), and we have made customer information protection a core operating principle.

This ISMS certification is significant in that it officially recognizes that Moyo’s information protection system complies with nationally recognized standards, and that it has led the industry’s information protection standards. Moyo also plans to pursue certification for international information protection standards, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701, in the future.

Moyo Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Wi Seong-wook said, “We plan to continuously enhance our information security system to create a communication service environment that customers can trust,” adding, “We believe that providing secure services even in invisible areas is an important responsibility of a company.”
