Daeryun and Wonkwang University Law Schools Sign Business Agreement for Fostering Legal Talent

Daeryun Law Firm announced on the 11th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Wonkwang University Law School.

The signing ceremony, held on the 10th in the Dean’s Office of Wonkwang University Law School, was attended by key figures including Daeryun Law Firm CEO Kim Guk-il, Attorney Park Sang-beom, Wonkwang University Law School Dean Kim Deok-joong, Professor Kim Il-ryong, and Center Director Hwang Chang-yong.

Wonkwang University Law School is a representative law school in the Jeonbuk region that has been nurturing talents with both public interest and expertise, achieving the highest entrance exam competition rate in the country for five consecutive years since the 2021 academic year. Based on a practice-oriented curriculum and ethical philosophy, it produces legal professionals from various classes.

Through this agreement, Daeryun plans to provide various practical opportunities to law school students. In addition to internships and practical training, it plans to actively pursue employment support through job fairs and related programs. In addition, it will consider supporting the Wonkwang University Legal Clinic program and will strive to cultivate students' legal practice capabilities.

Wonkwang University Law School Dean Kim Deok-joong said, “Daeryun lawyers will provide various know-hows accumulated through long experience to students who dream of becoming lawyers in the future,” adding, “This will be a meaningful cooperation as a central axis of legal practice education closely related to the local community, such as strengthening students’ practical capabilities through various programs.”

Daeryun CEO Kim Kook-il emphasized, “Daeryun will work with Wonkwang University to create a practical program where we can grow together, rather than simply providing support,” and “We will actively support local law schools so that they can grow stably on a regional basis.”

Meanwhile, Daeryun is continuously working to foster prospective legal professionals and recruit future talents through partnership agreements with law schools at various universities, including Yonsei University, Sogang University, Konkuk University, Ewha Womans University, Pusan National University, and Chungnam National University.
