Senior total care company Caredoc (CEO Jae-Byeong Park) announced on the 16th that four major directly-operated branches of Caredoc's home care centers received an A grade in the '2024 Regular Evaluation of Long-Term Care Institutions for Home Care Benefits'.

The National Health Insurance Corporation conducts regular evaluations of long-term care institutions every three years to improve the quality of domestic long-term care services. The evaluations are conducted based on 34 indicators in five categories, including institution operation, environment and safety, protection of beneficiary rights, and benefit provision process and results. The 2024 evaluation was conducted on a total of 9,035 home care institutions.

Caredoc Home Care Center received the highest (A) grade, which is equivalent to the top 20% of institutions in four major direct branches through this evaluation, and was institutionally recognized for its professional capabilities in the senior care field. The branches that received the A grade include Gwanak, Songpa, Incheon, and Busan. In particular, this evaluation is significant in that it proved that Caredoc is applying the know-how it has accumulated in care, nursing, and housing in a balanced manner to service operation.

Caredoc Home Care Center places the highest priority on improving the quality of life of beneficiaries and is leading the way in providing customized care services in each region. In the initial consultation stage, the center director visits the home to assess the needs of the beneficiaries and their guardians and designs customized care plans accordingly, thereby operating with a beneficiary-centered approach.

Specialized programs for each center are also factors that enhance the expertise and differentiation of Caredoc Home Care Center. Songpa and Busan branches, which received an A grade this time, regularly invite external professional instructors to conduct capacity-building training for nursing assistants, and Gwanak branch provides cognitive programs utilizing specialized teaching aids to all recipients.

Caredoc is striving to apply a standardized system containing senior care know-how to all branches of the home care center. To this end, Caredoc is providing practical support for realizing high-quality care services, such as providing regular guidance and inspection and guidance based on its own system. In addition, it holds a center director meeting at least once a month to discuss feedback and operating plans, and is continuously strengthening the center's expertise as a care site through capacity building training, communication with caregivers through meetings, etc.

Caredoc Home Care Center currently operates eight direct branches, including Gwanak, Songpa, Incheon, Busan, Nowon, Seongbuk, Noble County, and Gimhae, and also operates 16 partner branches. It plans to expand the number of partner branches to 40 by 2025 and further strengthen its nationwide network. In the long term, it plans to further diversify its business models for long-term care facilities, such as home care centers, day and night care centers, and nursing homes.

Caredoc CEO Jae-Byeong Park said, “This A-grade award is even more significant because it officially recognizes Caredoc’s home care center’s high-quality care services,” and added, “We will continue to focus on providing a variety of services that can satisfy seniors, their guardians, and caregivers, minimizing the care gap in the aging society, and raising the quality standards of care services.”

Meanwhile, Caredoc is developing a total senior care service encompassing care, nursing, and housing, including home care services, hospital nursing, caregiver matching services, and the high-end residential nursing facility brand 'Caredoc Care Home'. It is also actively pursuing partnerships with senior housing and tech companies that have noticed this growth potential. Starting in June, it plans to launch a new hospital nursing reservation service through Kakao Healthcare's KakaoTalk chatbot 'CareChat'.
