
Pulse Nine Co., Ltd. (PULSE9, CEO Ji-eun Park) , which is introducing the AI idol 'IITERNITI', announced on the 16th that IITERNITI has been appointed as the promotional ambassador for the 2025 Busan International Short Film Festival.
The Busan International Short Film Festival, now in its 42nd year, is an internationally renowned film festival that has received official Academy Award certification. To commemorate its 42nd anniversary and its official theme of 'Cinema & Sound', the festival has selected a special ambassador, 'Eternity'.
The 11 AI idols Eternity will greet the audience at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Busan International Short Film Festival as promotional ambassadors for the Busan International Short Film Festival. They will also work hard to communicate with the audience during the festival through online and offline dance challenges and SNS events, and various experiential events for the audience will be prepared.
The photorealistic footage created by ETERNITY's generative AI and the 2D-filmed 'WEN MOON' music video have also been reborn using the 3D conversion method developed by ETRI Busan Joint Research Lab, and can be screened and enjoyed at the Busan International Short Film Festival Beyond – 3D Cinema.
Pulse Nine is introducing AI idol 'Eternity' based on its self-developed generative AI engine 'DEEP REAL LIVE'. It was introduced together with K-pop superstars at the V&A global tour exhibition 'Hallyu! The K-wave', which will be held in London, San Francisco, Boston, Zurich, and Canberra until 2026. It will also be exhibited at the Universum science museum in Bremen, Germany, and was invited as a performance artist at the closing ceremony of the AI for Good summit 2024.
Introduced as a new medium for K-pop by global broadcasters such as BBC and CNN, they are mentioned as a representative global K-pop AI idol, focusing on the European market, and are continuing active activities. In Korea, they are gaining attention as an 'AI idol who can communicate' through live broadcast appearances and drama appearances, and they are the first AI idol to successfully complete a solo concert. The Busan International Short Film Festival will be held from the 24th to the 29th at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu and the BNK Busan Bank Art Cinema Corner Theater in Jung-gu.
