
Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) announced that it is promoting the '2025 Virtual Convergence Company Commercialization Support' project to support the entry of virtual convergence technology-based companies in Gyeonggi Province into the content market and that it will recruit participating companies until May 12.
This project is being carried out with the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT, Gyeonggi Province, and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and aims to help startups and small and medium-sized enterprises based on virtual convergence technologies such as XR (extended reality), metaverse, and artificial intelligence (AI) enter the domestic and international markets.
The recruitment areas are ▲Customized marketing and commercialization support for companies ▲Support for participation in the 2025 Tokyo XR·Metaverse Fair, and a total of 8 companies, 4 companies in each area, will be selected.
The 'Corporate Customized Marketing/Commercialization Support' field is a program that supports the expansion of distribution and market development of commercialized services or content, and the four selected companies will be provided with customized marketing services worth up to 10 million won. The detailed support contents are operated in a way that suits the necessary elements of each company, such as publicity/advertisement, securing intellectual property rights, interpretation/translation, and platform entry, based on a 1:1 diagnosis with an expert.
In addition, the '2025 Tokyo XR·Metaverse Fair Participation Support' category targets companies participating in the international exhibition to be held in Tokyo, Japan from July 2 to 4. Selected companies will be able to promote their technologies and content through the exhibition space in the 'Gyeonggi Metaverse Support Center Corporate Hall', and will also receive support for exhibition booth provision and incidental expenses related to participation.
The target of the application is a startup and small and medium-sized enterprise based on virtual convergence (XR, metaverse, AI, etc.) technology headquartered in Gyeonggi-do. Companies wishing to participate can check the detailed qualification requirements and application method in the business announcement on the official website of Gyeonggi Convergence . Applications will be accepted from April 16 to May 12 at 2:00 PM via e-mail (metacenter@gcon.or.kr).
