Ulsan Youth Support Center (Director Hee-cheol Cho) and Ulsan Youth Mind Link (Director Hak-seon Kwon) signed a business agreement to support youth mental health and independence at the U-STAR Hall on the 6th floor of Ulsan Startup Hub at 2:00 PM on the 16th.
This agreement was created to establish a joint response system to promote mental health and expand social participation among Ulsan youth and to contribute to creating a youth-friendly local community.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will work together to ▲link mental health and self-reliance support programs for youth ▲operate and promote joint programs ▲link counseling cases and provide professional counseling support ▲conduct online and offline campaigns to expand youth participation. They will also jointly seek to strengthen networks with local youth organizations and discover and support youth-led projects.
Ulsan Youth Support Center Director Cho Hee-cheol said, “It is meaningful that a foundation for cooperation has been established where we can join hands with young people rather than turning a blind eye to their psychological difficulties,” and added, “Through this agreement, we will expand practical support so that young people in Ulsan can grow up to be healthier and more proactive.”
Ulsan Youth Mind Link Center Director Kwon Hak-seon also said, “Youth mental health is the foundation for social participation and an important factor in preparing for the future,” and added, “We will work together to create various programs that can help young people recover in their daily lives, beyond counseling and healing.”
The two organizations plan to further strengthen their cooperative relationship through joint research, policy proposals, and new business development through continuous meetings.
Ulsan Youth Support Center provides counseling services through the Youth Counseling Center (Gominjeomppang) program, and establishes a one-stop youth support system with related organizations such as Ulsan Youth Mind Link to help resolve various concerns of young people regarding mental health, jobs, housing, and the law.
