Tomato System's US subsidiary CyberMDCare signs remote patient monitoring contracts with 4 medical institutions and senior facilities

Tomato Systems, an information technology (IT) service solutions company, announced on the 15th that it has signed supply contracts with various medical institutions, including internal medicine hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics in the Los Angeles area, through its local U.S. corporation CyberMDCare.

Through the contract signing, remote patient monitoring (RPM), video consultation, and monitoring care services will be fully provided to senior facilities linked to medical institutions such as Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, and Senior Apartments. Contracts have been signed with three medical institutions and one senior facility so far, and as the service to these facilities is smoothly expanded, the number of RPM registered patients is also increasing. The number of registered patients is expected to continue to increase based on the positive response from medical staff.

Assisted Living is a residential welfare facility for the elderly and disabled who do not require 24-hour intensive care but do require daily care, and health management services are provided along with social interaction. Cyber MD Care will apply RPM services to provide customized care and preventive health management for the chronic disease management and emergency prevention of the elderly residing in these facilities.

CyberMDCare is focusing on supporting continuous health management of chronic disease patients based on telemedicine technology, increasing accessibility between medical staff and patients, and reducing the workload of medical staff to create a fast and effective treatment environment. In particular, CyberMDCare's 'Monitoring Care Service' utilizing MA (Medical Assistant) helps medical staff focus on specialized treatment, and contributes to improving the quality of medical services and creating new revenue models.

“The U.S. is experiencing a rapid increase in demand for RPM across senior facilities due to the aging population and increase in chronic diseases,” said a Tomato System official. “Tomato System and Cyber MD Care have been proactively developing and strengthening remote medical services, and based on this, we will rapidly expand our market share in the U.S. medical market.”

He added, “The cooperation with hospitals, pharmacies, and senior housing facilities that we are currently pursuing will be important assets for accumulating practical experience and trust, and as this experience accumulates, it is expected to become a stepping stone for even greater advancement.”
