CNR Research , a specialized clinical trial agency for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, announced on the 15th that it signed a three-party business agreement (MOU) with Wonkwang University Hospital of Oriental Medicine and CNR SMO to strengthen cooperation in the field of clinical research.

This agreement aims to strengthen joint clinical research capabilities through conducting clinical trials, training talent, and sharing information based on the expertise and infrastructure of each institution.

The main contents of the agreement are ▲exchange of clinical research-related technology and information ▲establishment of an educational cooperation system ▲strengthening of clinical trial competitiveness in various fields such as pharmaceuticals, herbal medicine, and data-based medical devices ▲joint use of facilities ▲sharing of overseas clinical strategies, etc. Through this, it is planned to seek to improve the quality of clinical trials, improve the research environment, and establish a foundation for global expansion.

Since being designated as a pharmaceutical clinical trial institution in 2012, Wonkwang University Hospital of Oriental Medicine has established itself as a regional medical institution that performs complex disease and high-difficulty treatment. Recently, it has strengthened its research and development and commercialization capabilities in related fields by establishing a digital healthcare department within Jeonbuk Bio-Convergence Graduate School (JABA) and operating an educational program to cultivate talent tailored to the bio industry.

A representative of CNR Research said, “Through this agreement, we have established a joint cooperation system to create an environment for new drug development and clinical trials,” and added, “We will do our best to contribute to the development of the domestic bio industry through innovative clinical research.”
