Sight AI hires Kim Jong-pil, a financial security expert, as vice president

Vision AI specialist company Sees AI (formerly See You Box) is recruiting Vice President Kim Jong-pil, a financial security and sales expert, and is moving to strengthen its sales targeting the financial market.

The newly appointed Vice President Jongpil Kim is an expert with over 25 years of experience in the fields of information protection and industrial security. He served as Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Business at Softcamp Co., Ltd., a company specializing in information security solutions. At the time, he was in charge of all of Softcamp’s business and directed approximately 1,000 projects for financial institutions, public institutions, and corporations.

Recently, in response to the diverse security demands of the generative AI market and the cloud market, the company has successfully established a subscription-based sales service business targeting various financial institutions and corporations such as banks and insurance companies by developing a SaaS (software as a service) and On-Premise (server-based) product supply strategy.

Vice President Kim Jong-pil majored in information security and industrial security through the master's course in the Department of Convergence Security at Chung-Ang University Graduate School, and completed the '3rd Financial Security Top-Level Course' of the Financial Security Institute. He worked as the strategic planning team leader at security company Initech Co., Ltd., where he gained practical experience in strategic planning, sales, and B2B business management. He also served as the CEO of Ventus Technology Co., Ltd., where he built up field-oriented security sales experience in the financial distribution and SI development sectors. He also worked at SoftCamp for nearly 20 years, contributing to the company's significant growth and development and listing on the KOSDAQ market.

Kim Jong-pil, Vice President of Siseon AI, expressed his aspirations, saying, “Based on my professional knowledge and long-standing experience in the fields of information protection and industrial security, I will effectively overcome the challenges the company is currently facing. Through a close network with existing and potential customers, I will accurately analyze market needs and establish new sales strategies to expand Siseon AI’s sales and secure a sustainable growth engine.”

Nam Woon-seong, CEO of Sisun AI, emphasized, “Vice President Kim Jong-pil has been recognized for his expertise in information protection and security work with various organizations and companies, and has particularly demonstrated outstanding capabilities in the field of technology sales. With the addition of Vice President Kim, we expect that the company will gain momentum in its sales force strengthening strategy to increase sales, such as improving the efficiency of the sales organization, establishing an effective sales system and network, and establishing a systematic sales strategy.”

Meanwhile, SEEU ON, an AI-based image recognition security solution, is expanding its market with its main product, SEEU ON, while diversifying its sales and increasing its corporate value based on its AI robot business through its subsidiary, SEEU ON Robotics, and its AI medical business, which it is pursuing as a new business. The company changed its name from CUBOX to SECERN AI through its regular shareholders’ meeting last month.
