CQVista and Arad Networks Jointly Develop Next-Generation Convergence Solution

Cyber threat hunting security company 'Cubista' (CEO Jeon Deok-jo) announced on the 8th that it will be developing a next-generation IoT security solution optimized for the IoT environment in cooperation with IoT security specialist company 'Arad Networks'.

Ccubista added that in order to proactively respond to the market environment where cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated due to the rapid increase in smart home and IoT devices, it is developing a 'next-generation IoT security convergence solution' capable of network virtualization, detection, and response tailored to the characteristics of IoT devices in various fields.

'Arad Networks' is an Internet of Things (IoT) security specialist that possesses network slicing technology that divides a single network into multiple independent virtual networks. It is capable of individually separating and configuring all networks connected to IoT terminals and services, so that even if one IoT terminal is hacked, the hacking damage does not spread to the rest of the IoT terminals, creating a strong security environment.

By combining Arad Networks' 'network slicing technology' with its 'real-time threat detection engine,' SecVista is able to build an automated security response system that immediately isolates the relevant device and reconstructs the network segment when abnormal behavior is detected. It is expected to easily solve the difficult problems of IoT security that were difficult to respond to with existing firewalls or endpoint security solutions.

Ccubista plans to launch a new IoT convergence security solution in the second half of this year and focus on the smart home security market together with Arad Networks. It plans to expand its business to public and industrial security fields such as medical device networks, industrial IoT (IIoT), defense, and smart buildings, and also enter the Japanese and Southeast Asian markets.

Ccubista is a leading company in next-generation NDR (Network Detection and Response) solutions based on the network traffic processing core technology and artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology know-how accumulated for over 20 years. Recently, it successfully developed the passive/agentless-based IoT security solution 'IoTCYBER v2.0' and plans to officially launch it at the end of this month.

Jeon Deok-jo, CEO of Ccubista, said, “The global IoT market is a blue ocean that is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 12.57% from USD 1.177 trillion in 2023 to USD 2.227 trillion in 2028, forming a vast market that encompasses everything from national core infrastructure to home appliances.” He added, “The ‘next-generation IoT security convergence solution’ that we are developing in cooperation with Arad Networks will present a new standard for IoT security.”

CQVista, established in 2005, is a leading cybersecurity company that developed Asia's first world-class Network Threat Hunting (NTH) platform. It is developing and distributing 'PacketCYBER v2.0', a real-time network threat hunting system based on next-generation NDR·FDR source technology. Last year, it was the first in the NDR industry to obtain a 'Security Function Confirmation' from the top security management agency, and has been adopted by public institutions, financial institutions, and government agencies in Korea and Asia, and is recognized as a top security solution company. It also issues a security report, 'CQ Report'.
