Sejong Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as Sejong Center for Creative Economy and Innovation) announced on the 14th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sejong Social Service Center to promote sharing of Sejong Love as part of the expansion of Sejong City’s “Sejong Love Movement.”
This agreement was created to expand social contribution activities for Sejong citizens and to promote “Sejong Love Sharing” in the region through close ties between the two organizations, large corporate partners (SKT), local mid-sized companies, and startups.
The two organizations will cooperate in various areas, including ▲ forming and operating the “Sejong Love Sharing Group” to promote social contribution, ▲ recruiting participants for the Sejong Love Sharing Movement and cooperating in the provision of social services, and ▲ activating networks to encourage patriotism and cultural development among local residents.
On this day, after the signing ceremony, the two organizations promoted the donation of SKT, a partner of Sejong Changgyeong Center, to ‘Sejong Love Sharing No. 1’. SKT stated, “We are carrying out social contribution activities every year for the development of Sejong City’s startup ecosystem and region, and we will continue to be of help to Sejong City as a member of ‘Sejong Love Sharing Group’.”
Sejong Social Service Center stated, “We hope that Sejong Love will lead to social contribution activities that love the surroundings together, and we will work with Sejong Changgyeong to establish Sejong Love Sharing as a culture.”
In addition, Sejong Changgyeong Center supports the voluntary social contribution activities of participating companies so that the donation activities of the center's childcare companies with the intention of donating can continue. By continuously promoting donation activities and providing information on donation benefits, we will encourage the center's childcare companies to donate, and by ensuring that sharing continues to be shared by local mid-sized companies, we will establish an image of sharing in practice and continue social value activities for the local vulnerable.
CEO Oh Deuk-chang said, “We will continue to promote the ‘Sejong Love Movement’ to enhance the social solidarity and empathy image of Sejong Changgyeong Center and foster a sense of pride and attachment to the city among its members.”
