GP selected for ‘Global IP Star Company’ development project

GP Co., Ltd., a medical artificial intelligence (AI) specialized company, announced on the 15th that it had been selected for the ‘Global IP Star Company’ fostering project hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office. The project is a program that supports overseas expansion and strengthening of global competitiveness based on intellectual property (IP) for small and medium-sized enterprises with high export potential.

GP is a company leading the 'Growth Tech' field centered on AI-based growth diagnosis technology, and has proven its technological prowess by advancing into overseas markets such as North America and Japan through the medical AI solution 'GP Growth Map AI' launched in 2024. With the recent confirmation of exports to Japan, expansion of its influence in the Asia-Pacific region is also expected.

Growtech is a technology that analyzes and predicts personal growth data using AI and data. GP holds 58 domestic and international patents for related technologies, and its objectivity is verified by publishing many related research results in SCI-level international academic journals.

With this project selection as an opportunity, GP aims to apply for and register more than 55 overseas patents over the next three years, strengthening its intellectual property rights foundation in the global market. Key strategies include overseas rightsization of core technologies, intellectual property protection, and establishment of avoidance strategies.
