A consortium consisting of content AI solution specialist 4BY4 and digital marketing platform company Salin announced on the 15th that it had been selected for the '2025 DNA Large and Small Partnership Joint Entry Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.
The 'DNA Joint Entry Project' is a government-supported project to support overseas expansion and localization of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent technological capabilities. This year, four consortium teams in the ICT convergence service and platform fields were selected with a total budget of 2.4 billion won.
Through this project, PobyPo will provide the 'PIXELL' solution, which provides AI-based video quality improvement and capacity optimization technology, and Salin will provide the 'AI Talker' solution, which provides automatic video subtitle generation and translation, search, and summary functions. Through this, the plan is to support domestic small and medium-sized enterprises that want to use content for global marketing to secure competitiveness in overseas markets.
This consortium is pursuing localization centered on the US and Japanese markets, and Fourbyfour recently established a US corporation and has been strengthening its local network by continuously participating in major industry exhibitions such as CES and NAB Show. Since Salin also has major Japanese media groups such as Softbank and Sony as its clients, the two companies are seeking full-scale global business expansion based on communication with companies and partners in each country.
In this project, which will be carried out for approximately 7 months starting in May, the two companies will build and operate services together with domestic beneficiary companies wishing to expand overseas, and jointly carry out overseas market entry activities based on evidence. Through this, it is expected to produce tangible results such as discovering overseas buyers and signing contracts.
Sung-wan Bae, Head of the Four By Four Pixel Business Division, said, “This project selection is not only an opportunity to promote our AI technology more effectively in overseas markets, but is also significant in that we can become partners in global expansion together with domestic SMEs with competitive content.”
