Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (hereafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) was selected as one of the 'Top 40 Power Organizations in Corporate Support Projects' announced by Forbes Korea. It is the only organization in the culture, sports, and tourism sectors under Gyeonggi Province to be included, and ranked 33rd out of 828 organizations nationwide.
This evaluation was conducted jointly with the startup investment database platform 'The VC' by comprehensively analyzing the performance and policy directions of local governments and related organizations' corporate support projects in 2024.
Gyeonggi Contents Industry Promotion Agency was highly evaluated for promoting a total of 166 corporate support projects in 2023 to foster the cultural content industry. This is interpreted as a reflection of the achievements of promoting the growth of local content companies through various policies such as content production support, startup incubation, and global expansion support.
This selection is an example that externally demonstrates the excellence of content industry support in Gyeonggi Province, and Gyeonggi Content Creation Center plans to continue its role as a key organization for fostering creative content companies and revitalizing the local economy.
Director Tak Yong-seok said, “This evaluation is the result of objective recognition of Gyeonggi Content Creation Center’s policy achievements and efforts to support companies,” and added, “We will continue to provide effective support so that Gyeonggi-do content companies can grow stably.”
