Bespecs Attracts 2 Billion Won in Investment

Relational wellness startup Vespex announced on the 14th that it has attracted 2 billion won in Pre-A round investment with lead investment from Inlight Ventures. With this investment, Vespex plans to fully move into monetizing its AI-based wellness subscription product, focusing on the North American market.

Based on the philosophy that ‘healthy relationships create healthy individuals,’ Vespex is expanding into a B2C wellness company that technologically solves physical and emotional health problems that arise in relationships. To this end, Vespex is operating ‘Signaling,’ an AI-based utility service centered on couple calendars and messaging functions.

“We believe that technology can facilitate human connection, and in the process, restore individuals’ physical and emotional well-being,” said Jeong Ju-won, Co-CEO of Bespecs. “Through this investment, we plan to verify our key hypotheses in the North American market and fully launch subscription-based wellness content monetization.”

An official from Inlight Ventures, which led this investment, said, “Bespex is a team with the execution power and insight to implement AI, healthcare, and wellness technologies in a user-friendly form,” adding, “In particular, their strategic preparation for entering the North American market and the potential for expanding data-based services were impressive.”
