
Vibe Company, an AI solution company based on data technology, announced that it held the second year workshop of the ‘Generation AI Leading Talent Training Project’ at Yonsei University’s New Millennium Hall on April 11.
The 'Generative AI Leading Talent Training Project' is a national support project promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation (IITP), with a total budget of 14.5 billion won expected to be invested from 2023 to 2027. This project aims to secure core technologies and train practical talents in the field of generative AI, and Vibe Company has been participating as the project's main organization since 2024.
At this workshop, the main research projects for the second year were shared. Korea University presented the results of developing a language model optimized for summarizing papers, Seoul National University introduced statistical information visualization technology, Kookmin University presented the development of document automatic generation and collaborative LLM/LMM, and Yonsei University presented research results centered on disaster and safety warning technology in smart cities.
At this event, Vibe Company announced a plan to enhance the curriculum centered on practical use based on generative AI technology and related educational content that can be immediately applied in the corporate field. In particular, project-centered education, strengthening practical training, and expanding practical education through industry-academia cooperation were presented as key directions.
The trainees who participated in the first year of the course were described as highly satisfied with the practical projects and mentoring programs. One trainee said, “The team projects and expert mentoring were a great help in gaining practical experience.”
A Vibe Company official said, “We are conducting education and research in parallel to foster practical AI talent that meets the needs of the industrial field,” and “We will continue to increase the competitiveness of the entire AI ecosystem through close cooperation between educational institutions, research institutes, and industrial companies.”
