Olymplanet signs business agreement with Chiloen

Immersive XR tech company Olymplanet announced on the 18th that it signed a business agreement with music tech startup Chiloen and will introduce an AI-based music matching API.

Chiloen is a company that provides customized music solutions using AI composition technology. It has developed and launched Link Music, an AI-based B2B background music solution, KEENEAT, an AI composition service, and MID.A, a music library service. Through these, it provides customized music services free of copyright restrictions.

Olymplaet plans to apply the 'AI Music Matching API' utilizing Chiloen's Link Music to its XR fandom platform XROMEDA. This will provide creators active in XROMEDA with an environment where they can freely use background music and sound effects suitable for their content without worrying about copyright.

“We are delighted that XR creators can now utilize optimized, high-quality music sources without copyright restrictions through the Link Music solution,” said Cho Seong-in, CEO of Chiloen. “We will continue to advance our solution that uses artificial intelligence to analyze all areas where music sources are needed and recommend matching music.”

Kim Min-woo, head of the business division at Exromeda, said, “The music used in content is an important factor that can maximize users’ immersion in the content,” and added, “We expect that Exromeda creators will be able to produce content more efficiently through Chiloen’s ‘Link Music’ solution. Exromeda also plans to continue to cooperate with various technology partners to improve the service quality of the fandom platform and expand the XR content ecosystem.”
