Himpel (CEO Kim Jeong-hwan), a specialized ventilation appliance company, announced on the 3rd that it signed a business agreement with the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation (CEO Kang Myeong) and Zero Energy Remodeling Cooperative (Chairman Kim Ha-yeon) at its headquarters in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, to create senior jobs in the ventilation industry.
This agreement was made to foster 'Green Home Consultants (GHC)' for senior professionals in the ventilation industry and to cooperate in training and employment support. This is also part of the '2050 Carbon Neutral Green City Seoul' strategy promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
GHC is a private company registered with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy that performs tasks such as system ventilation purifier maintenance, indoor air quality inspection, and energy efficiency consulting.
According to the business agreement, the three organizations will jointly promote ▲finding suitable senior positions in the ventilation industry ▲planning and operating job training to foster specialized personnel ▲operating training-related internships and creating jobs ▲promotion and exchange using organizational resources.
Himpel will discover jobs related to system ventilation purifier maintenance and carbon neutral consulting, and will be in charge of introducing and entrusting senior-level dedicated jobs. Zero Energy Remodeling Cooperative will grant GHC qualifications and perform practical placement and entrusted work for trainees. Seoul 50 Plus Foundation will provide job training and employment support programs and recruitment information.
This agreement is expected to create sustainable jobs by utilizing the experience and expertise of senior workers. In addition, by training experts in system ventilation and air purifier maintenance, it is expected to contribute to improving indoor air quality and energy efficiency, and it will be an opportunity to establish a public-private cooperation model for responding to the climate crisis. Kim Jeong-hwan, CEO of Himpel, said, “We needed to train specialized personnel for maintenance and management after the installation of system ventilation and air purifiers,” and “We will actively create senior-friendly job opportunities with expertise and sustainability through cooperation with foundations and associations.”
Meanwhile, recruitment of participants for the 'Green Home Consultant Training Course' job training will begin on the 21st of this month, and related information can be found on the Seoul Senior Job Support Center website.
