– Starting with the first training session on the 30th, sequentially conducted in June and August… Any ICT entrepreneur in the Southeast region can apply for free

Global accelerator SparkLabs (CEO Kim Yu-jin) announced that it will conduct a ‘Entrepreneurship Growth Education Program’ for young entrepreneurs in the Southeast region in cooperation with the Pusan National University Entrepreneurship Support Team.

This startup growth education program was designed to strengthen the competitiveness of startups in the Southeast region (Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam). SparkLabs' CEO and key executives, who possess both expertise and insight, will personally give lectures and share practical know-how with entrepreneurs.

The educational program, consisting of three sessions, will begin with CEO Kim Yu-jin’s ‘PMF (Product-Market-Fit) & Pivot: Startup Strategy to Captivate the Market’ on April 30th, followed by CEO Kim Ho-min’s ‘Investor Insight: Startup Investment Attraction Roadmap’ on June 13th, and Executive Director Hong Seong-jin’s ‘Fail & Forward: Principles of Sustainable Growth through Failure’ on August 7th.

The first training will be held on the 2nd floor of the Busan Industrial Promotion Agency in Centum Venture Town, U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Anyone who is an ICT entrepreneur (including prospective entrepreneurs) in the southeastern region can scan the QR code on the poster or apply for free on the SparkLabs website.

Sparklab has been participating in the 'ICT Innovation Expansion Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency since 2023, and has been operating a startup incubation program in the Southeast region based in Busan for the third year, including this training.

So far, a total of 10 youth startups in the Southeast region have been fostered and supported by Sparklab and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, including Bueno Company, the operator of the offline mart promotion solution 'Grocket'. Based on this, Busan City has achieved consistent results, such as taking first place in the annual evaluation for the Southeast ICT Innovation Expansion Project for two consecutive years.

Kim Yu-jin, CEO of SparkLabs, said, “Through this training prepared in collaboration with the Pusan National University Startup Support Team, we will share SparkLabs’ know-how from core startup strategies to attracting investment and verifying sustainable business models,” adding, “We look forward to the interest and participation of many passionate local entrepreneurs.”

Meanwhile, SparkLabs plans to operate an accelerating program that will not only provide follow-up management for companies fostered through this year’s ICT Innovation Diffusion Project, but also discover promising startups in the region and support them for six months.
