Gyeonggi Innovation Center, '2025 Pangyo Startup Zone Tenant Networking Day' Ends

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Innovation Center) announced on the 11th that it successfully concluded the '2025 Pangyo Startup Zone Tenant Company Networking Day' held at the Pangyo Startup Zone on the 10th.

The 2025 Pangyo Startup Zone Networking Day 'Warming Up Day', held at the Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley Business Support Hub Startup Zone, was planned to provide a business briefing session for Pangyo Startup Zone tenants and to provide a venue for exchange between tenants following the new tenant entry of startups in 2025. Approximately 70 people, including 16 new tenants in Pangyo Startup Zone, existing tenants, graduates, tenant investors, and partner organizations, attended the event.

The event consisted of a business briefing session and a networking session. The first business briefing session introduced the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and Startup Zone, as well as the program, investment companies, and partner organizations. In the second networking session, Epicca CEO Park Sang-gyun presented tips for startup zone companies and achievements in the Pangyo Startup Zone under the theme of “A to Z of Pangyo Startup Zone as told by senior companies.” Next, SoulX CEO Hwang Young-taek gave a presentation on “Cases of Collaboration with Large Companies” and lectured on the collaboration with LG during the 2024 Open Collaboration. This was followed by introductions of new and existing companies, and the event concluded with a networking session for the existing companies and stakeholders.

Pangyo Startup Zone is the largest startup support cluster in Korea that provides one-stop support for the innovative growth of startups, from startup infrastructure (office space, etc.) to investment, open innovation, and global expansion in the initial and growth stages. It is the largest startup support space in Korea established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Korea Institute for Startups & Entrepreneurship Development and the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation.

It is located on the 6th to 8th floors of the Enterprise Support Hub at 815 Daewangpangyo-ro, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, and has a total area of 14,010㎡ (3,152 pyeong) with approximately 130 dedicated office spaces for various sizes of companies and 33 conference rooms for various sizes.

Specifically, various types of support are provided to resident companies, including ▲open innovation linkage between large, medium, and start-up companies to promote rapid growth and maximize performance of resident companies, ▲regular Startup 815 IR Day every Thursday to attract investment, ▲customized acceleration including public relations, certification, investment, and marketing, ▲global star venture program to support global expansion, and ▲in-depth networking by field.

An official from Pangyo Startup Zone said, “Startup Zone tenants are continuously achieving domestic and international results, such as attracting investment, M&A, and winning CES Innovation Awards with the support of the Gyeonggi Innovation Center,” and “We plan to actively support many promising startups that will grow into unicorns in Pangyo Startup Zone.”
