SaaS and IT asset management solution company Sherpas' integrated management platform 'SMPLY' has been finally selected for the '2025 Global Enterprise Collaboration Program' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. With this selection, Sherpas has secured a bridgehead for entering the global market based on technology and business cooperation with Amazon Web Services Korea (AWS).
Simply is a platform that can comprehensively manage everything from AI services like ChatGPT to SaaS solutions and IT devices within the company, and is currently working on advanced work that incorporates AI technology. In particular, it is implementing a function that automatically identifies unidentified SaaS services that are being used without the user’s knowledge through AI-based payment data analysis, and plans to improve the accuracy of IT asset data analysis and strengthen the function of providing utilization insights through collaboration with AWS.
Selfas plans to use this program as the first step for global expansion into the Japanese market and begin full-scale preparations for entry within the year. Japan is a market with increasing demand for SaaS asset management solutions, and recently, local company Josys attracted $1.25 million in investment and $1 million in venture loans from venture capitalists. Selfas aims to be the first domestic solution to enter this market and secure a position in the SaaS and IT asset management sectors.
A Selfas official said, “As the introduction of AI services and SaaS solutions is rapidly expanding in the global market, interest in management efficiency and security issues is also growing,” and “Simply is evolving in a direction that can optimize the operation of corporate IT assets by utilizing AI beyond simple cost reduction.” He added, “Based on the network and resources secured through this global collaboration program, we plan to fully advance into the Japanese market.”
