Nucode and Luxrobo have signed a business agreement to create a manufacturing-based IoT product development ecosystem. This collaboration aims to integrate the technologies of both companies to quickly implement IoT ideas and reduce development difficulty.
According to this agreement, Nucode's IoT development platform 'NUWORKS' and Luxrobo's custom board design service 'MODI FACTORY' will be interconnected, thereby laying the foundation for increasing the efficiency of the IoT product development process and shortening the time to market.
Nucode is a domestic module manufacturer that has signed NDAs with global semiconductor companies such as Nordic Semiconductor and Infineon and is collaborating with them. It develops and supplies core IoT wireless communication components such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE-M. Luxrobo provides the 'MODI FACTORY' service that supports users to implement desired functions in the form of custom boards, and through this, it operates a platform that allows for the rapid realization of IoT ideas in various fields.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to apply Nucode’s wireless communication MCU module developed domestically to ‘MODI FACTORY’ and utilize software such as ‘nRF Connect SDK’, ‘Zephyr’, and ‘MODI OS’ to provide a more intuitive and rapid development environment. Through this, the complexity of hardware and software integrated development will be reduced, and small and medium-sized enterprises and startups will be able to mass-produce IoT products more easily.
“Through our collaboration with Luxrobo, we hope to build a manufacturing cooperation chain that extends from the idea stage to finished product production, and contribute to creating an industrial environment that strengthens the manufacturing and sales capabilities of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises,” said Lee Gwan-hyung, CEO of Nucode.
