Caregen, a biotechnology company (CEO Yongji Jeong), participated in the world's largest cosmetics raw material exhibition 'In-Cosmetics Global 2025' held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from the 8th to the 10th and showcased its core peptide technology.
In-Cosmetics Global is a platform for sharing the latest technologies in the global cosmetics raw materials industry, where experts from various fields, from R&D to marketing and procurement, participate to seek opportunities for cooperation. At this exhibition, Caregen attracted great attention from buyers and industry experts from around the world, focusing on CG-Follicare and PTx.
CG-Follicare is a raw material that uses 'Hair Bond Repairing Peptide' technology, and quickly penetrates not only the surface of the hair but also the inside through low-molecular protein design. This technology reconnects hair that has been broken due to heat and chemical treatments at the molecular level to revive damaged hair. Caregen's representative product 'Dr. CYJ iDR' has been clinically proven to restore damaged hair within 5 minutes with just one use, and the effect lasts for 7 days. This product precisely targets the damaged area to restore bonds, organize the cuticles, and create a protective film to prevent moisture from escaping, providing a quick and continuous improvement effect.
At the technical seminar 'Revolutional Hair Repair' held on the 9th, the working principle and clinical results of CG-Follicare were the main topics of the presentation. In particular, buyers and industry insiders from various countries including Europe and the US attended in large numbers and showed great interest, and field experts evaluated Dr. CYJ iDR as a product that will become a new standard in the global premium hair care market in the future, saying, "It is an approach that is on a different level from the existing damaged hair repair technology."
The functional raw material PTx, which was introduced together, is a synthetic peptide that Caregen registered as a ‘foreign new substance’ with the China NMPA (National Medical Products Administration) for the first time in Korea. This ingredient is known to be effective in alleviating various skin problems such as wrinkles, acne, pores/sebum, hyperhidrosis, atopic dermatitis, and muscle pain by helping cell regeneration in the dermal layer of the skin and controlling the secretion of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. It is gaining attention as a unique raw material that can be applied to over 100 types of cosmetics and medical devices, and in particular, as it has been officially recognized for its efficacy and safety through the NMPA registration, which is famously strict, it is expanding its position as a next-generation core ingredient in the high value-added raw material market.
Caregen, which successfully completed the exhibition, is also planning to participate in 'Dubai Derma', which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from the 14th. CEO Jeong Yong-ji said, "Peptide technology is a platform technology that can be expanded beyond cosmetics to various fields such as health functional foods and pharmaceuticals," and "We will continue to expand the global B2B network through cooperation with partners from all over the world."
Caregen has expanded its presence in the global market by exporting peptide-based raw materials and products to various regions around the world, including Europe, North America, and Asia. Caregen’s expertise, deeply rooted in one field through long-term immersion in peptide technology, has become Caregen’s solid competitive edge. The peptides developed and manufactured by the company are evolving from simple raw materials to a convergence platform that encompasses various technologies, such as delivery systems for the human body, including the skin, and sustained-release formulations. This is an achievement made possible by 24 years of accumulated R&D know-how and clinical experience, and is expected to become a milestone leading the global peptide industry in the future.
