Digital twin specialist Ian (CEO Seungho Lee) announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with XR device specialist P&C Solution (CEO Chiwon Choi) for collaborative development of industrial XR products and solutions and business promotion.
Through this agreement, Ian plans to combine its industrial digital twin technology with P&C Solution’s XR devices and solutions to jointly develop innovative XR-based solutions specialized for industrial sites and begin full-scale business cooperation in domestic and international markets.
The two companies plan to actively cooperate in establishing customized roadmaps based on improvement requirements and special needs for their domestic and international customers and partners, joint proposals and implementation cooperation for entering the global market, and exchange of core technologies and solutions.
P&C Solution develops and produces AR glasses and XR simulators based on AI-based vision recognition technology and motion sensor technology, and even develops XR solutions in-house to provide all-in-one services. In particular, the company's developed 'Metalens 2' is highly regarded as a see-through XR glass.
Ian provides essential digital twin construction services in cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors and displays, and supports maximizing factory construction and operational efficiency by integrating digital twin systems utilizing various design data such as BIM and 2D drawings and XR media technologies such as AR and VR.
An Ian official said, “This collaboration will be an important turning point for developing new industrial XR solutions by combining our industrial digital twin technology with P&C Solution’s XR devices and securing competitiveness in the global market,” adding, “We expect that the synergy created between the two companies will bring about innovation across the industry.”
