Orchestra (Chairman Minjun Kim), a cloud software company, announced on the 10th that it is accelerating ESG management by establishing an ESG roadmap and expanding R&D investment in eco-friendly solutions, ethical management, and social contribution activities.

ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) is a non-financial management standard that evaluates a company's sustainability and social responsibility across the environment, society, and governance. Orchestra has established an ESG system since 2024 and is setting up company-wide implementation tasks to implement ESG in practice.

In the environment (E) field, we are expanding R&D investment for the development of eco-friendly solutions. We are improving the operational efficiency of IT infrastructure through the server virtualization solution 'Contrabase' and are also promoting technological advancement for reducing carbon emissions. In addition to advancing existing solutions, we are also working on applying functions that can check environmental performance such as carbon footprints in numbers to our own solutions.

In the social (S) sector, we are strengthening the employee-centered organizational culture and practicing social responsibility in parallel. In order to create an inclusive employment environment, Orchestra employs people with severe and mild disabilities and supports them to work together in various spaces such as the in-house café 'Blue Note 43'.

The entire amount spent on cafe use is accumulated as a donation. A 1:1 matching donation program is also in operation, where the company adds the same amount to the amount donated by employees. Since the program was introduced in 2023, the cumulative donation amount has reached approximately 90 million won, and the donation is being delivered to the youth welfare organization 'Youth Stump Foundation'.

Orchestra is working to create an organizational culture based on communication and trust, and to foster the growth of individuals and organizations through voluntary learning. Through town hall meetings and leadership workshops, it encourages horizontal communication, and expands the community culture through events such as fireworks displays with employees and their families. In the development/technical field, it has introduced a ‘digital badge’ system to systematically acquire various technical capabilities, and has expanded the learning culture through employee technology exchange meetings. Recently, it established the Orchestra Academy to expand its employee-centered education to customers, partners, and the cloud ecosystem.

In the area of governance (G), we are transparently disclosing our ethical standards to create an ethical management environment and strengthen the foundation for practice. We recently created a dedicated page for ethical management on our website so that customers, employees, and stakeholders can easily check the ethics charter, practice guidelines, and ethical management goals for each stage. We are also strengthening our ethical corporate culture by operating the 'Clean OKESTRO Online Reporting Center' where unethical behaviors can be reported.

Kim Min-jun, Chairman of Orchestra Group, said, “ESG is a core value for realizing a company’s sustainable growth and social responsibility.” He added, “Based on ESG management, Orchestra will practice ethical values and responsible technology development, and move toward the direction of co-growth of technology and society to establish itself as a trustworthy company.”

Meanwhile, Orchestra is also working on strengthening its technological competitiveness along with ESG management. Recently, it is rapidly expanding its position in the market by securing the largest number of win-back cases among domestic virtualization solutions through 'CONTRABASS', a server virtualization solution that is gaining attention as an alternative to VMware.
