Haesung Optics announced on the 10th that it won the grand prize in the quality innovation category at the '2025 Mutual Growth Cooperation Day' hosted by Samsung Electronics. This award is the result of Haesung Optics being recognized for its stable supply of smartphone camera modules and optical components and its innovative achievements in excellent quality management.
This event was held to pledge mutual growth and mutual prosperity with partner companies and to award partner companies that achieved excellent results over the past year. About 150 people attended the event, including Samsung Electronics President Jang Deok-hyun, Joint Growth Committee Chairman Lee Dal-gon, key executives, and representatives of partner companies. In particular, six partner companies, including Haesung Optics, Hwain Technology, Samsung Mechatronics, and Korea Viatech, were awarded for their outstanding performance in five categories: quality innovation, productivity innovation, technology development, and compliance management.
Samsung Electronics also signed a 'Partnership Ecosystem Reinforcement Agreement' with the Joint Growth Committee and partner companies. Through this, Samsung Electronics plans to provide approximately KRW 200 billion in support over three years from 2025 to 2027, and the Joint Growth Committee promised support to strengthen the capabilities of partner companies.
Haesung Optics has been steadily supplying various next-generation optical components, including ultra-high-pixel and folded-zoom camera modules, in cooperation with global smartphone manufacturers. In particular, it has built the industry’s highest level of reliability through technological prowess and thorough quality control for key components inside camera modules, including OIS actuators.
Haesung Optics has been continuously expanding its R&D manpower and investing in production facilities (CAPA). Through this, it has quickly commercialized innovative products demanded by the market, such as folded zoom camera modules and actuators for ultra-high-resolution sensors, and has also established a stable mass production system.
With this award, Haesung Optics has been able to further solidify the trust of global manufacturers, including Samsung Electronics, and strengthen its competitiveness in the future optical components market.
