AI-based learning platform Classum announced on the 10th that it was selected for the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter referred to as Shinbo)’s Pre-ICON program.
Free Icon is a scale-up program provided by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to startups that have been in business for 2 to 10 years. It provides up to 7 billion won in funding and also provides various non-financial services such as export information provision, market development, and promotion. Selected companies are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of the innovativeness, growth potential, and technological prowess of their business models.
Classum's selection as a free icon is a recognition of the company's innovative technology and business performance. With this selection as an opportunity, the company plans to further strengthen the competitiveness of its products, such as AI-based 'Skill Solutions', 'LXP (Learning Experience Platform)', and 'Connect (AI Consulting System)', and expand its domestic and international sales activities to further solidify its position in the industry.
Classum is currently being used by major companies, universities, and institutions in 32 countries around the world, including Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Seoul National University, KAIST, and Yonsei University. Since its inception, it has used AI as a growth engine to improve the work efficiency and effectiveness of companies and universities, and has increased user satisfaction and contributed to solving field problems and creating organizational performance.
In particular, the AI consulting solution 'Classum Connect', launched in January of this year, achieved success by being introduced to several companies, organizations, and universities, including the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ulsan University, in just three months.
Classum is also recognized on the global stage. It ranked first in the world at the 2021 GES Awards HP Track, was selected as one of Forbes' 'Asia's 100 Most Promising Companies', and participated in 'Select USA' hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the WTO Secretary-General's Meeting. In addition, it was named to the 'East Asia EdTech 150' by HolonIQ, a global education market research firm, for four consecutive years and earned five badges from G2, the world's largest global business review platform.
Classum CEO Lee Chae-rin said, “Being selected for the Free Icon program is very meaningful as it recognizes Classum’s technological innovation and business competitiveness,” and added, “We will use this selection as a stepping stone to advance our services and continue to grow as a solution that solves real-world problems at companies and universities.”
