Crowdworks, selected as official training institution for 'SME worker-led training'

AI tech company Crowdworks announced that its AI education brand Crowd Academy has been selected as an official training institution for the 'SME Worker-Led Training' project hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Human Resources Development Institute for Industry.

Crowd Academy is an online education platform that aims to cultivate talents needed in the AI era, and provides job competency improvement education using AI data and generative AI. In particular, based on the various AI projects and generative AI service development experience that Crowd Works has carried out, it operates a curriculum that helps strengthen AI competency centered on practice.

The 'Small and Medium Enterprise Worker-led Training' project is a nationally funded project in which workers take the initiative in selecting the training course, companies provide priority support for training costs, and the government reimburses up to 50% of the cost. The target of this project is workers employed at priority support companies with less than 150 regular employees, and upon submitting proof of education completion, they can receive reimbursement of up to 50% of the training costs.

Through this project, Crowd Academy will provide a total of 11 AI education courses and provide customized education for both developers and non-developers. This course includes lectures that can be applied in practice, such as planning and implementing generative AI services, developing LLM services and using RAG, AI model optimization practice, and AI-based content production practice. The course and application method can be checked on the Crowd Academy corporate education homepage, and the SME worker-led training will be operated until December 2025 and may close early if the budget is exhausted.

Lee Bo-ram, CEO of Crowd Academy, said, “This course is a practical curriculum designed directly by Crowdworks’ field experts, and focuses on fostering the ability to practically utilize AI in various positions such as developers, marketing, design, and sales.” She added, “We will provide practical and continuous education so that employees of small and medium-sized businesses can be competitive in the rapidly changing industrial environment.”
