Agesoft changes company name to 'Pepper Games'

Game developer 'Agesoft' has officially changed its name to 'Pepper Games'.

The mission of 'Pepper' is composed of the prefix 'Pepp' and the suffix '-er'. 'Pepp' means a unit of a project that adds small differences and focuses on details to produce the best results, and '-er' refers to the people who make this happen, that is, the team members of Pepper Games. Thus, the mission was designed to contain the philosophy that 'good people (team members) create good results'.

Pepper Games is planning to release a new mobile game currently in development called 'Project M (tentative name)' within the year. The game is a casual art style collectible crafting MORPG, and Com2uS is in charge of publishing.

Lee Jung-jin, CEO of Pepper Games, said, “This company name change is not a simple name change, but a strategic choice to clearly convey our game development philosophy and direction.” He added, “In order to provide global users with a deep and delicate game experience, we will continue to pursue a development culture that increases perfection without missing even the smallest details.”
