Aim Intelligence Signs Business Agreement with Kolon Benit

Aim Intelligence (CEO Sang-yoon Yoo), a generative AI safety specialist, announced on June 24 that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Kolon Benit (CEO Yi-gu Kang), an IT subsidiary of Kolon Group. With this agreement, Aim Intelligence will join the 'AI Alliance' operated by Kolon Benit as a security specialist participant, thereby acquiring a complete business portfolio ranging from AI development to infrastructure, services, and security.

At the signing ceremony held at Kolon Benit in Yeouido, Seoul, the two companies set the advancement of automatic red team and guardrail solutions (AIM Red, AIM Guard) targeting generative AI and the joint development of market-specific prepackages as their main tasks. Kolon Benit’s network of approximately 80 partner companies and solution commercialization and introduction incubation program are expected to contribute to the commercialization of Aim Intelligence’s technology and market expansion.

AIM Intelligence is an AI safety deep-tech startup founded in 2024. With the goal of “ensuring safety and accountability by making AI behavior controllable,” it has developed products such as AIM Red (automatic red team/stress test), AIM Guard (real-time guardrail), and AIM Supervisor (governance dashboard). These products are utilized in the financial, medical, and public sectors and are evaluated to have increased the accuracy of AI risk detection and blocking.

Yoo Sang-yoon, CEO of Aim Intelligence, said, “AI safety verification is not an option but a necessity ahead of the enforcement of the Basic AI Act,” and added, “We will work with Kolon Benit to present responsible AI adoption standards across industries.” A Kolon Benit official also said, “We will support our customers’ entire process of adopting generative AI through the Alliance portfolio, including AI safety.”
