Anchor Node (CEO Jaeho Won), the developer of the AI game production solution 'GameAIfy', has signed an industry-academic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hoseo University's Department of Animation , and will begin full-scale practical game graphic education and project cooperation based on AI technology.
Through this agreement, Anchor Node and Hoseo University plan to cooperate in various areas, including ▲jointly conducting industry-academia projects, ▲operating educational programs such as special lectures and workshops utilizing AI image generation technology, ▲providing GameAIfy image generation services when creating content within schools, and ▲supporting exhibition and promotion of Anchor Node company introduction materials within schools.
Professor Park Sung-won, head of the animation department at Hoseo University, said, “It is a very meaningful opportunity for students to experience AI tools used in actual industrial settings,” and added, “Through this agreement, we expect to be able to reduce the gap between education and industry and create a more practical, hands-on educational environment.”
This agreement is the second MOU between Anchor Node and Hoseo University, following an agreement with the Department of Game Software last May. At that time, a collaborative system was established centered on joint research and project cooperation in game resource production using generative AI. Based on the linkage between the two majors, Anchor Node is accelerating the creation of an educational ecosystem for 'AI game talent training' with Hoseo University.
An Anchor Node official said, “This agreement is an example of education and industry creating practical contact points through AI technology,” and added, “We will continue to expand cooperation with major educational institutions across the country and contribute to creating an AI-based game production ecosystem.”
