My Real Trip Co., Ltd. (CEO Dong-geon Lee), which operates a travel super app, announced that it achieved its first annual surplus since its establishment, recording sales of KRW 89.2 billion and operating profit of KRW 130 million in 2024.

My Real Trip's annual performance trends are ▲2020 sales of KRW 7.1 billion, operating loss of KRW 13.8 billion ▲2021 KRW 4.4 billion, -19.3 billion ▲2022 KRW 22 billion, -27.6 billion ▲2023 KRW 60.5 billion, -17.4 billion, with sales and operating profit increasing significantly by KRW 67.2 billion and KRW 27.7 billion, respectively, in just two years.

My Real Trip has focused on maximizing profits through a strategy of stably growing its core business centered on tours and activities in line with the demand for overseas travel that has fully recovered since COVID-19, while rapidly expanding its product line across travel verticals including flights, accommodations, and My Pack.

In addition, My Real Trip introduced AI technology last year to automate customer response and optimize business processes. This resulted in increased productivity and improved cost efficiency, leading to a significant increase in sales while reducing fixed costs.

Currently, My Real Trip has established itself as a leading domestic travel platform with 9 million cumulative subscribers and 4 million monthly active users (MAU). Rather than relying on external advertising, My Real Trip has established a virtuous cycle structure centered on repeat visits and repeat purchases, and has also successfully established a creator-based, self-generated marketing model, such as rapidly growing from KRW 7.3 billion in transaction amount in 2023 to KRW 83.4 billion in 2024, a more than 10-fold increase through the 'My Real Trip Marketing Partner' program that provides compensation when sales are made by sharing travel content.

“This is our first annual surplus since our founding, and it is an important milestone that goes beyond simple financial performance and proves the sustainability of our platform model and its profit structure,” said Lee Dong-geon, CEO of My Real Trip. “We will continue to invest in AI technology to increase internal efficiency, while striving to provide customers with a better travel experience.”

Meanwhile, My Real Trip has increased customer satisfaction by introducing AI technology to the travel industry, which requires 24-hour customer response, to respond to customer inquiries quickly, and has recorded the highest score in the travel and accommodation platform sector in a consumer satisfaction survey conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Electronic Commerce Center in 2024.
