Yeonglimwon Softlab and TMC Start Next-Generation Integrated ERP Construction Project

Younglimwon Softlab, a company specializing in enterprise solutions, announced on the 8th that it has begun a full-scale system construction project with TMC, a company specializing in the manufacturing of ship cables, with the goal of system integration and cost system construction.

This project aims to implement a system optimized for actual business processes based on the successful completion of the previous Process Innovation (PI) project. TMC has established itself as a global leader in the shipboard cable industry and has been keenly aware of the need for system integration to secure new growth engines and meet internal system requirements. Accordingly, through the PI project last year, the company analyzed the business processes from various angles and derived innovation tasks, and then promoted this system construction project based on this.

In the PI phase, the key tasks identified were the introduction of a standardized TO-BE process, maintenance and establishment of master data, establishment of a system linked to the PI task improvement results, establishment of an integrated linkage plan between linked systems, and establishment of a pre/post cost system. Yeonglimwon Softlab supports TMC’s digital transformation based on its abundant project experience and proven system establishment capabilities in various manufacturing fields. In particular, through a thorough requirements analysis in the early stage of the project, it plans to provide a solution suitable for mid-sized companies by integrating the enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution system (MES), and product data management (PDM) systems.

A TMC official said, “Based on the results derived from the PI project, we will realize the modernization and advancement of the company-wide system through this ERP implementation,” and “We will strive to ensure that all executives and employees actively participate in the project so that they can experience real changes.”

Yeonglimwon Softlab CEO Kwon Young-beom said, “Based on the results derived from the PI stage, we will provide a system optimized for TMC’s work environment and global strategy,” and “We will support TMC’s management efficiency improvement and securing global competitiveness through company-wide data integration and real-time information provision.”
