Business Canvas Obtains ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018 Information Security International Standard Certification for 4 Consecutive Years

Business Canvas, the operator of Re:catch, a CRM (customer relationship management) solution that helps B2B companies grow their sales, announced on the 8th that it has renewed its certification for three international information security standards: ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018. This certification renewal was conducted through an audit conducted according to the latest standards revised in 2022 through the Korea Foundation for Quality (KFQ), and Business Canvas proved the effectiveness of its overall system, including its information security management system, cloud security, and personal information protection.

ISO 27001 is an international standard for establishing and operating an information security management system (ISMS), ISO 27017 is a security control guideline for cloud service providers, and ISO 27018 is a standard that focuses on protecting personal information in a cloud environment. Through this certification, Business Canvas has been officially recognized as having a system that comprehensively satisfies the security requirements required as a SaaS company.

This certification renewal is not simply a matter of maintaining the certification, but is interpreted as a result of upgrading the internal system in a situation where the level of security requirements has increased due to the recent increase in the proportion of enterprise customers of ReCatch. In fact, ReCatch is being introduced by enterprise-level customers from various industries including major domestic telecommunications companies, large corporations, and unicorn startups, and is subject to strict review of security and quality standards when introducing the service.

Lee Myeong-jae, a senior judge at the Korea Foundation for Quality, said, “Business Canvas has set controls at a level appropriate for the current environment and risks and is operating them stably without being excessive or insufficient,” and “It received high marks for responding well to changes over the past three years through continuous aftercare and improvement activities.”

This certification renewal is significant in that it includes verification of not only the ReCatch product itself, but also the quality activities and security management system within Business Canvas. Through this certification, customers who have introduced ReCatch can establish a basis for gaining trust in the internal security review and service stability verification process.
