
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service announced that they are recruiting participants for the 2025 Art Investment – Understanding Funding ‘Art Start-UP!’ training program to support the successful operation of aspiring art entrepreneurs and art companies in the field.
The purpose of this training is to help aspiring art entrepreneurs and art companies who are experiencing practical difficulties in securing funds learn funding strategies appropriate for their respective growth stages and to effectively apply these strategies in practice.
The main educational content consists of ▲customized funding strategies for arts enterprises ▲how to utilize government subsidies and grants ▲how to utilize policy funds and financial support ▲how to utilize specialized financial support programs for cultural content ▲strategies for attracting venture investment, etc. Those who complete the education will be provided with additional consultation opportunities with experts in each field upon request.
The participants are approximately 50 aspiring art entrepreneurs and art companies preparing for growth after starting a business and can apply online ( https://forms.gle/KCmKytzY5JPdqdzd7 ) until 6 PM on the 21st. The final selected participants will be individually notified on the 28th.
An official from the Arts Management Support Center said, “We hope that through this training, arts companies will be able to develop the ability to effectively procure the funds necessary for business operations, thereby achieving stable growth.”
