Project Question (CEO Eunwon Choi), a social planning company that plans and operates the traditional culture-based market festival 'Jeojatgeori', is recruiting sellers and sponsor collaboration brands for 'Gimpo Jeojatgeori' in the first half of 2025.
'Jeojatgeori' is a participatory market festival that reinterprets the traditional Joseon Dynasty market in a modern way. It is a cultural marketplace where visitors and sellers breathe together, focusing on traditional crafts, hanbok, and K-lifestyle content.
Last year, it was held twice in total in the first and second half of the year at the Donuimun Museum Village, recording a total of 70,000 visitors and 1.08 million views on SNS (based on Twitter), establishing itself as a successful model of collaboration with traditional crafts creators. It was also noted for the voluntary content production by visitors and the spread of the culture of wearing hanbok.
The first half of this year's event will be held for three days from May 30 to June 1 at Gimpo Art Village Hanok Village, and over 100 booths, twice the size of last year, are expected to be operated.
This seller recruitment is for craft artists, brands, workshops, and experiential class operators nationwide, and applications will be accepted through the MyTeample platform until April 30, focusing on general booths in the form of market stalls (including taverns and experiential booths), street stalls, and peddlers.
Project Question CEO Eunwon Choi said, “Jeotsae Street is not just a simple sales venue, but a space where brands and visitors can experience the ‘present meaning of tradition’ together,” adding, “We hope to see a lot of interest from brands and creators based on traditional culture.”
Meanwhile, Project Question is also recruiting sponsors who wish to participate in sampling events and pop-up stores along with this festival. It targets food and beverage, traditional liquor, beauty, and lifestyle brands, and collaboration on traditional emotional content that takes advantage of the spatial characteristics of Gimpo Hanok Village is possible. Sponsorship and collaboration inquiries can be made through the official CS email.
