Burnect to supply XR manual to Comico

Vernect Inc., an AI/XR (artificial intelligence, extended reality) technology company, announced that it will supply XR manual solutions to Komico, a precision special coating and cleaning and specialized analysis company for semiconductor and display parts.

Through this collaboration, Burnect will provide an XR-based manual for the operation of Comico’s measurement and analysis equipment, and the solution will be produced using Burnect’s Make. This will enable Comico to provide more intuitive and efficient training on how to operate complex measurement equipment.

Comico is a global company that plays a key role in the semiconductor and display industries, providing solutions to major domestic and international semiconductor companies such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, TSMC, Micron, and Intel. Measuring equipment is an essential tool for high-precision analysis work that requires detection of even the smallest defects, and its accurate operation is directly related to production quality. By introducing Burnect’s XR manual, Comico plans to maximize the efficiency of internal employee training and create an environment where complex procedures can be learned more easily.

Burnect Make is a no-code-based XR content creation tool that allows you to easily create AR (augmented reality)-based manuals without any programming knowledge. With Burnect View, you can easily use XR manuals on various devices such as Windows, Android, and iOS, allowing Comico employees to practice by viewing augmented manuals on actual equipment.

Unlike traditional paper manuals or video training, XR manuals provide an immersive experience where users can learn while interacting with actual equipment. This not only maximizes learning effectiveness, but also helps prevent equipment malfunctions and improve proficiency.

A Burnect official said, “The introduction of XR manuals is increasing in industries that require precise operations, such as semiconductors, displays, and manufacturing,” and “Through this collaboration with Comico, XR manuals will become the new standard for industrial training.”
