Geekble CEO Park Chan-hoo selected as one of the '2025 Forbes Korea 30 under 30'

Ahead of Science Month (April) and Family Month (May), science and engineering content startup Geekble (CEO Chan-hoo Park) is busy with various domestic and international projects. In particular, Geekble's popularization of science and engineering and creative education innovation are once again receiving attention as CEO Chan-hoo Park was recently selected as one of the '2025 Forbes Korea 30 Under 30'.

CEO Park has already been selected as one of the '2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia', proving that he is a science content innovator who is continuously recognized both domestically and internationally.

Geekble is a leading domestic science and engineering media startup that grew around YouTube with the vision of a world where science becomes everyday life. It currently has 1.2 million YouTube subscribers, 700 million cumulative views, and as of last year, its annual viewing time reached 3.2 million hours.

Park said, “It has already surpassed the viewing time of National Geographic Korea,” and “Geekble has gone beyond simple science content and established itself as Korea’s leading science and engineering media.”

Geekble is moving beyond media to become an edutech platform. Starting with the media division achieving a profit in 2019, the entire corporation will successfully turn a profit in the second half of 2024. It has diversified its business portfolio by actively expanding new businesses such as science education commerce (2021) and offline education services (2023).

Geekble's business goes beyond simply producing and distributing educational content, and aims to build an educational ecosystem that connects practical talent.

CEO Park Chan-hoo said, “Geekble is a platform that connects producers who produce videos, creative makers, people who want to teach, and people who want to learn,” and explained, “We started out as a practical education model for elementary school students, but expanded it into an internship program for middle and high school students, and in the future, we plan to develop it into a talent platform that connects adults who want to change careers.”

Geekble will present various projects to celebrate the upcoming Science Month (April) and Family Month (May).

'Battle Dog', an entertainment-type scientific content reflecting the robotics trend, is a battle series using quadrupedal robots, and will deliver 'robotics', one of the major trends of CES 2025, to the public in an easy and fun way. The winner will be awarded 1 million won in prize money.

In addition, the 'Overseas Advanced Technology Expo with Geekble' will be held at the National Science Museum in Daejeon from April 26th to 27th. This expo will provide an opportunity for the public to experience the latest trends and innovative cases in the fields of science and engineering.

CEO Park said, “I want to show that science is not something difficult or unfamiliar, but rather something that anyone can enjoy and utilize in their daily lives,” and expressed his ambition, saying, “Geekble will continue to lead the way in popularizing science and engineering and innovating education.”
